DPMS 7.62 REPR (RFLR-REPR)

New from DPMS, the PANTHER REPR in 7.62 NATO. St. Cloud, MN - Designed to exceed the requirements of the USMC’s potential solicitation for a lightweight precision rifle, the Panther REPR (or Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle,) is a complete rifle package derived from the battle tested DPMS SASS and the award winning Panther LR-308. Chambered in 7.62 NATO with a 1x10 twist, the sub-MOA capable REPR features an 18” contoured chrome molybdenum steel barrel that has been fluted under the 4-rail handguard to alleviate excess weight. A Remonite coating to the barrel, bore and chamber significantly increases the barrel’s resistance to wear and corrosion thereby prolonging barrel life. A 7.62x51 Advanced Armament Corporation (AAC) Flash Hider completes the barrel.

The extruded, hard coat anodized 7129-T6 aluminum, A3 height Picatinny flattop upper receiver with 30 MOA declination houses an 8620 steel bolt carrier and Carpenter 158 steel bolt, both of which have been heat treated and plated to exceed Mil Spec requirements. A lightweight, standard length, vented aluminum 4-rail free float tube and uniform coyote brown Teflon® coating finishes the upper assembly. Optics not included with the rifle.

Built on the tack-driving LR-308 platform, the semi-automatic lower assembly features a milled, hard coat anodized and Teflon coated, 6061-T6 aluminum lower receiver. The lower receiver’s upgraded components include an Ambidextrous Safety Selector and Magazine Release, DPMS 2-Stage Trigger, and a newly designed removable, hinged trigger guard. A black Hogue Rubber Grip with Finger Grooves and Magpul PRS Stock in coyote brown complete the upgraded rifle. Additional accessories include a DPMS Bipod Adapter and Harris Swivel Series Bi-Pod, two (2) 19-rd magazines, a cleaning kit and hard case for storage. The rifle’s weight when empty is 9.5 lbs and measures 39.25” OAL. Picture does not represent upgrades.
